I started the last official day of my cleanse with a very green smoothie.
Banana, avocado, almond milk, romaine, spinach, dates and Amazing Meal. Hit the spot.
I was debating over running this morning. My knee is still giving me trouble, but Friday’s run went really well. And I’m itching. You runners out there know the feeling. I finally decided that the weather was just too good to pass up, and I hit Central Park for a quick 3 miles.
I wore one of the Bondi Bands I picked up at the marathon expo. I am obsessed with this thing. Never has a headband stayed put in my thin hair so well. Love.
I listened to Jillain Michaels’s podcast — she’s back! After a way-too-long hiatus, her radio show has returned, and my life is complete again. I heart her.
My knee was hurting by mile 2.5, but I pushed it to 3 and walked home, happy to get outside and content to be running at all.
I’m meeting a dear friend to go shopping in Soho this afternoon — can’t pass up the chance to be out and about on this lovely day!
